General Session Information
General photography sessions typically take place outdoors unless your home has ample natural light. Clients often choose to do their session at a local park, farm or other public place with personal meaning to them. Portrait sessions are generally 1-hour long. Within 24 hours of your session, several preview images will be posted so you will have an opportunity to take a sneak peek at some highlights from your session.
Each hour-long session includes no less than 20 high-resolution final, edited digital files from the session within one week of the shoot (except during peak holiday times when the wait is sometimes 2 weeks) as well as a general print release for your personal use. Although you are not required to purchase professional-quality prints from Robin, you have the option to do so if you're interested.

Newborn Session Information
Congratulations on your new baby! Newborn photography sessions are a great way to document those precious first days of your new baby's life. These special sessions typically last 2-3 hours depending on the baby and whether or not siblings/family are included. You'll receive no less than 20 (but usually closer to 25-30) high resolution retouched digital files along with a general print release for your personal use.
To book a newborn session, contact me 2-3 weeks before your due date. This allows room in the schedule to be set aside for you. Then, once baby arrives, contact me ASAP to finalize a session date/time. The best time to photograph a newborn is in the first 10 days of life, but within the first two weeks is ok. However, after 10-14 days, newborns aren't as sleepy and easy to pose. If you really want those adorable posed, sleepy baby photos, you'll want to schedule your session in the first week of life.
