BABY CHARLOTTE

3/6/2014

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Baby Charlotte in her home at 14 days old. After keeping her parents up all night, we thought for sure a full belly of milk pre-session would put her into a nice milk-coma. We were wrong!
She was wide awake, not very happy about being put down, and very eager to cluster feed. Needless to say, Charlotte proved many newborn photographers right - newborns can be very unpredictable. Fortunately we had plenty of time to let Charlotte feed, feed and feed some more, and eventually she was able to get nice and cozy for some really adorable photos.

Her home had wonderful natural light thanks to many large windows and a full length glass door. It's often a challenge to arrive at someones home and find the kind of natural light I would like, but Charlotte's house was perfect.

After we got some great sleeping images, she woke up and even looked at the camera for a few shots. She was such a sweet baby…looking forward to taking more photos of her as she grows.
